Smart Phone vs. Produced Video
Social media videos are where most advertising is going. Short little thirty to sixty second clips that create the necessity of their product. To complicate matters more these videos are often shot on our cell phones. Granted the videos that we see that are obviously shot on cell phone do not convert. At the end of the day the videos that are “produced” generally do better. In the end that is what we want to see is conversion. Social media, rather you spend money or not, is going to be more effective for advertising. Studies have shown that marketing videos are up by eighty percent on social media; whereas, blogs are still consistently being written but with the added-on bonus of a video that accompanies the blog.
A fully produced video is more likely to get clicked on by the average of 35-40% more than a video that is not. People can tell the difference between videos that are smart phone based and professional. The psyche behind the click is that people are paying money to have their video created so they must have a quality product; therefore, making the product more desirable.
